Our Fire & General insurance brokerage, Caveo, continues to grow after a great 2022, which has created an opportunity for a Domestic Insurance Broker/Broker Support to join our team.

Caveo works alongside Velocity Financial – A group of mortgage, life & health and KiwiSaver advisers, together we provide a holistic financial service and ensure that our clients are as well looked after as they can be.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Assisting with renewals including remarketing and ensuring the policies accurately reflect the client’s current situation.
• Assisting with claims.
• Preparing new business submissions and advice recommendations for clients.
• Part of this role includes some broker support to our commercial broker, meaning there is a good opportunity to progress into a commercial broker role in due course, if desired.
• If you are experienced in the industry, we do have the ability to adapt the role to suit the right candidate.

Requirements for application:

• Current/previous experience in Domestic/Personal Lines would be desirable.
• You have your level 5 NZ Certificate in Financial Services (General Insurance) or are working towards your L5 (If you don't have your New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services, we can help you get it.)
• However, if you don't have the above qualifications but are keen to enter the industry and are conscientious, client focussed, with a sense of humour then please apply.
