A Bit About Us
At Velocity, our mission is to leave people better off than when they started. It all began in the early 2000s when our founders, Graham and Brendon, left their social work careers to help people in a new way—by getting them into their first homes. Fast forward to today, and Velocity has grown from two mortgage brokers into a team of over twenty, including financial advisers and support staff. Today, Velocity offers comprehensive financial services, from mortgages, investments, financial plans to insurances, business advice and KiwiSaver - we've got our clients covered. A rarity in our industry, and helping people achieve their goals and dreams remains at the heart of what we do.

The Velocity advisers and support crew are a fun and diverse bunch. We're a carefully curated team of entrepreneurs, pub owners, mechanics, civil servants, beauticians, radio DJs, entertainers, and banking professionals, all now qualified financial advisers who continue to serve the community. No one here is fresh out of university. Our advisers have already been schooled in 'life', because life is what we navigate our clients through! Whether it's a first home, a business venture, a divorce, a retirement strategy, an illness, or a budding property empire—our team has been there and done that. Maybe you can relate?
