‍Just as in any good crime movie where the Boss doesn’t do any of his own “dirty work”, in the world of home loans and life insurance it pays to bring in the guys and girls who are used to mucking in and getting the job done.

Love it! Thank you Liam Neeson. Hopefully we, at Velocity, won’t be a nightmare but a very useful resource for you.

As I reflected on my year last year, I found myself channeling Liam. On many occasions my particular set of skills seemed to be very useful—skills that I had acquired over years of working with clients to work through their financial situations. Sitting with clients with complex financial situations, new relationships, children from past relationships, multiple properties, trusts and companies and property relationship questions, land and build deals, etc, etc, etc.

And what is my set of skills?  

The ability to navigate through these issues, in a down-to-earth, easy-to-understand, step-by-step kind of way and using my networks of good professionals (accountant, lawyers, valuers, etc) to assist when needed.

I think it can be easy to underestimate the value of this. However, the feedback from our clients is overwhelmingly positive and surprisingly a hard–to-find specific skill set that few can offer.

At Velocity, yes we can secure your home loan at the best interest rate and put in place your life insurance, but it’s the experience and the advice that make us the opposite of a nightmare.

I may be biased, but I think that is a very helpful set of skills to be able to offer!
