Once again, we take stock on our predictions for the year to come, make a few New Year's promises to ourselves, and hope that by the end of the year, we all come out winners.

Elizabeth: Plateau overall, but with Auckland and Wellington still climbing a bit.
Manisha: I think it will stay stagnant, not much of an increase/decrease in price.
Bella: I think we will not see any significant changes.
Ben: A plateau through the first two quarters with arise in the second half of the year - fingers crossed because I want to buy!
Willie: The Government will still only tinker around the edges of this issue and make no real meaningful changes to help everyday Kiwis secure a home.
Simon: Same, same.
Shona: House prices across the board will lose steam. There will still be growth in high demand areas, just not as much as we have seen recently. This will be good for buyers (like me, fingers crossed!)
Josh: Hopefully we are living on Mars by then, so I won’t have to worry about that.
Lance: The hysteria will slow, and Wellington prices will flatten out.
Brendon: I think house price inflation is over. I don't think they will be higher than they are now, and there may be a small (5%)decrease in prices through 2022
Tania: Housing prices will increase however not at the level that they have increased this year
Elizabeth: Try to improve my gardening skills from killing all plants I come into contact with to keeping at least 1 lemon tree alive!
Manisha: Be able to flawlessly do applications.
Bella: For the two cheerleading teams I coach to place top3 at a national championship
Ben: Tick off at least one more great walk
Willie: Keep training hard and smash my lifetime best Half Marathon and 10km times
Simon: To continue the work/life balance
Shona: In my role at VF, I want to keep devising and improving on ways to communicate complex information with our clients to help them to make good choices with their money. As a non-financial person, I am particularly invested in this, as I know how overwhelming the choices can be! In my personal life, I aim to grade to my black belt and get back on the mountain bike after a few injuries this year.
Josh: Shoot under100 on the golf course, haha.
Lance: Time for a new surfboard, and make time to use it!
Brendon: I have the small matter of an ultra-marathon to run in February (Covid-willing) and once through that my goal is to get a little more balance in to my life for the rest of the year.. with some fun adventures thrown in...
Tania: Go to the gym or do some form of exercise 4 times a week
Elizabeth: Sort out the busses so they are usable again rather than just making it difficult and expensive to drive into town.
Manisha: The traffic, haha.
Bella: Perhaps a little biased, but the lack of Lebanese restaurants in the city
Ben: Make everyone take a refresher course on using their indicators
Willie: Replace all big buses with smaller ones, and create a bus system that is the best in the country
Simon: Bottle necking traffic
Shona: Nothing beats Wellington on a good day… On a bad day, more wind shelters on exposed street corners would be nice 😊
Josh: The drivers: you really see how bad they are when you’re on a motorbike most days
Lance: More men's fashion stores
Brendon: I would like to see progress on being a more cycle friendly city (I think you still take your life in your hands when you get on a bike -TBH I don't- but my family and friends do!- There has been some progress but there is much more to be done I think
Tania: Reinvigorate Wellington city centre - Make it clean, safe and exciting to visit
